Sean Dotson’s Sarasota based engineering company RND Automation & Engineering, has developed some amazing machinery for it’s clients. In March of 2010, RND was named Autodesk’s Inventor of the Month for its Digital prototyping work with Autodesk Inventor Software.
Autodesk reviews the 12 winners of each year, and along with public voting, selects the best to be named Inventor of the Year. The RND Automation team took the 2010 competition by a landslide.

“My relationship with Autodesk goes back more than 13 years to the first days of Inventor Release 1.” noted Sean Dotson, RND Automation’s President. “It’s quite an honor to receive this award and to be recognized for our work.” .
Dotson’s name is synonymous with many influential engineers, and has developed countless design solutions for the mechanical engineering industry.
