That’s right, it’s out…finally !! And you thought it would never get here….Don’t feel bad, neither did I.

Autodesk has released the Infrastructure Design Suite for 2012, which contains a great combination of tools for you to leverage new opportunities in civil engineering and design. From geospatial, through engineering, and out to visualization. It’s in there.
I introduced the Autodesk 2012 Design Suites this spring, and noticed SSA was not in my original list. So here’s the lineup as advertised today:
Infrastructure Design Suite – Standard Edition is a great civil foundation package with tools for infrastructure analysis and planning. It includes:
- AutoCAD
- AutoCAD Map 3D
- Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis
- Autodesk Navisworks Simulate
Infrastructure Design Suite – Premium Edition adds the core design component as well as the dynamic integration with Visualization:
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Autodesk 3ds Max Design
Infrastructure Design Suite – Ultimate Edition steps up simulation by swapping out Navisworks Simulate with:
- Autodesk Navisworks Manage
