Autodesk Labs has released v2 of its reality capture software. In the first release of Project Photofly, Autodesk streamlined the user interface of prhotogramettric software, making it easy to use. They went a step further and put the processing on the cloud, where servers would prepare the point cloud results for you and deliver the project back to the individual user.
Photofly’s meshing capabilities were introduced at Autodesk University and very small test groups have been working on the project for a few months. V2 of the software is now available for download.
