GibbsCAM direct reads Inventor Part and Assembly files. Numerous additions have been made to their application modules, including a new Plunge Roughing capability, and the integration of high performance toolpath of VoluMill.
Direct Model Transfer
Transferring Autodesk Inventor models and assemblies directly from Autodesk Inventor to GibbsCAM can be accomplished through an Inventor-to-GibbsCAM add in. Updates to part geometry and process parameters are readily accommodated by GibbsCAM’s full associativity across geometry, processes and toolpaths.
