Autodesk Simulation 2012 Multiphysics - Node

Autodesk Simulation 2012 Multiphysics has more viewing and report options than you can shake a stick at. Presentations, embedded presentations, charts, and on and on and on.

To make matters even more complex, everything in Simulation is measured at the node. If you don’t know the node ID, then it becomes a bit difficult.  You need the node ID for this, and over here you need it for that. What if you could just reference everything in one place. Well, you can.

Node Context Menu

The node Context menu is activated by picking a node in any graphics view, and simply right-clicking. The global options for the current view appear at the top, and the node specific items at the bottom.

Also, you can embed the node results in another presentation easy, and avoid the major headache doing it manually.

Another option that will come up sometimes is add curve to graph. The is the easiest way to overlay curves on a single presentation.
