The Constraint Options dialog provides the user a way to select what inferred constraints they wish to reference in the 2D sketch environment. Along with the Inferred Constraints toggle, this allows for additional customization and flexibility.
I have noticed a few discussions resulting in the “Missing Green Dot” issue, and read a good amount of troubleshooting before (if ever) someone mentioned the Constraint Options. Sometimes it is just that simple.
The Constraint Options can be accessed through the Right Click Context menu. The selected options will infer constraints in the 2D environment. Everything else will be ignored. Note that in the above example, intersection constraints will not be inferred.
Should you notice your co-worker face down on the keyboard murmuring something about the Missing “Green Dot”, be a kind soul and fix their Constraint Options.
