With the release of Inventor 2014 come some much needed updates to the Materials & Appearance tools introduced with the 2013 release. Frankly they were horridly buggy and awkward to use. Thankfully Inventor 2014 changes that, its plain to see that Autodesk have made a HUGE effort here.I only hope they continue with subtle improvements here and there, especially in the area of custom Appearance creation, the addition of more stock materials & appearance assets along with support for custom materials created in any product to work across the Autodesk Product range.
