I imagine it is hard to tell, but the image you see here is me, standing in a forest clearing looking along the tree line, and another leaving a clearing, and approaching the edge of the denser forest. As you can deduce that this is a point cloud. What you may not know is that I’m using Autodesk ReCap 2014 to view the datasets I received from someone else. There were a couple of concern areas, and so I thought I’d walk the site.
This is so cool.
2014 Design Suites
ReCAP 2014 comes along with various suites Autodesk offers, including two that I use daily, Infrastructure Design Suite 2014 and Product Design Suite 2014.
I am using the fly mode to walk about at standard eye height. It really is bloody fun. We’ll have more on this sort of thing to come.
